Talking Some more crazy ideas!!!

This is brought to you by the same guy who asked about choppin and dropin the L...Yours truely!
Here are the "ideas",putting the spare(a true spare) in the bed,of course customizing the bed area first.Maybe moving the fuel cell into the bed too so that I could run one of the exhaust pipes(two tips out of the muffler to keep it uniform)out the other side.A nice "Hot-Rod" look IMO.
So where do I find the "holder" for my true spare or do I have to make it myself?
These are long range plans, maybe just mind meanderings, but who knows?

I will post some photos of High Risk's pickup box mounted fuel cell along with his dual exhaust (both sides). Also his long tube headers (he did ask me to shoot some photos of them). I may even post the photos of my dual 15# polished nitrous bottles, polished intercooler reservoir, and chrome spare. I am using polished linear actuator to open my Lo-Pro lid. I have been busy making a lot of cool Lightning accessory which I will post at my photo album. I also hope to shoot video of High Risk making his 11 sec. 1/4 mile pass using my 15 inch modular Lightning Drag wheel too.
PS. I am getting my trailer hitch chromed plated at the end ot the month.

BA,
Your custom mods(and HIGHRISK'S TOO!) sound most excellent! Ummm,so you intrseted in panning out your buisness??? I would be intrested in the Intercooler.A comment that got me thinking over the weekend at a cruise was "Ford sure does use a lot of plastic in there doesn't it?" I sure wish I could start chroming the commponents under the hood.
When you posts the pics I'll be the first to check them out!

My battery is in the bed, just because i cant have it under the hood anymore.. Its very easy to do. I would like to see a feul cell done tho. I am gonna 4 link my truck and the gas tank gets in the way so it needs to move.. either where the spare tire is (then my bag tanks have to move), or in the bed

Plz post any pics.

I've seen some of the off road serious rally trucks with a real cool looking spare tire rack in the bed, you may want to look at some off road sites for one. The mount the tire at about a 45 degree angle.

Photo of Reactor Power Cell which can be mounted in the pickup box. This is a true dry cell battery. Hey no fuss, no muss, you can even hang it upside down. What the heck mount two.

Thumbs up

BABolt - any pics of the linear actuator you used for bed cover? Manufacturer of actuator? Did you need/use a block to distribute the load at contact point of the actuator? Thanks!

The Linear actuator is from Select Products www.selectproducts.com. Lots of cool stuff at their web site.I have mine setup to a support structure so that I cause no damage to my pickup bed. All of the changes that I have made to my Lightning are totally reversible. I have made a lot of new items for my "L" and they are at my Zing web site. Will have a lot more by the week end.
