XCalibrator 2 question

i good friend of mine has a 95 stang with a supercoupe engine swap he ordered the xcal from a stang vendor shipped with the tune needed for his situation.. basically since i feel as though i am rambling on will this also work on my truck or do i need to get a tune loaded onto the xcal first?

also if i do end up using this will it void my warrenty? ive herd rumor that even if you flash the ecu back to stock it will still be seen at the dealer?..

thanks

chris

1. The Xcal2 locks onto the pcm of the vehicle you first tune.
If you could use them between multiple vehicles, SCT would probably have sold about 10 and we would all be loaning them out.

2. Most importantly. The tune for a vehicle is not generic. His tune is no good for you at all. Different set up entirely.

If you are worried about voiding youi warranty, don't do any mods at all.
