Exclamation NEW QUIRK

There I am minding my own business just crusin along about 85 and here comes this mustang around me like I'm stopped. Well we can't have this, soooooo, engage right foot and we're off. i catch him at 130 and we're cruzin along when I hear this strange flutter sound like the cards we use to put on our bikes with clothes pins. Well I slow down under 70 and it goes away. I'm trying to pin point it so back up to 90 there it is. Let off gas sounds the same. Shift to netural and shut off engine. Sounds the same, well it can't be anything sugnificant so when I get somewhere I can stop I open the hood and start looking for something strange. See nothing, close hood and start to walk areound truck. Upper rubber seal on windshild is popped out and loose about half way across. Go to dealership, put some "Aggie pukie" on rubber and windshield and tape rubber to windshield and am told to keep it under 70 for 24 hours. All fun gone. Go home and park truck. Life in the fast lane.

Noelvm,

Ever get the idea that these trucks really weren't designed to go this fast.

Anyhow, Wyldman had this happen to him and you might want to check this thread with regard to safety and whether the fix is correct.

They said they had to use special "pukie" so as not to void warranty. If it happens again, truck has to go to glass shop and have windshield popped and put back with all new glue (pukie).

This happened to WYLDMAN too. Nawwww, reds much faster than black and I beat "beastie" last Friday. (Beastie was ill, migrane or vapors or something)

The muffler is absolutely great. Just the right mix of deep throated rumble, but not loud at drive if your not at WOT. Performance increase--didn't really expect much but any improvement in airflow either in or out is beneficial. Engines are nothing but lungs, air in, air out, the more the better.

My upper windshield rubber molding blew off at 45 mph. Went through same time wasting, exasperating procedure to repair.
