paint, undercoat, & gripes
My (black) L may be a badass ride and a heckuva tough truck, but the paint is about as robust as kleenex armor in an icepick fight. It seems like you just barely touch it and ouch, the white, White, WHITE undercoat shows through. BTW, if I ever find the @#$% idiot that elected to put white undercoat/primer under black paint I'd be inclined to, well, do something. The question I have is, will this paint toughen up a bit as it gets older (L is 4 weeks out of the factory now)? My guess is that there isn't much of a solution beyond repainting again and again; once per rock. Sigh.
