I'm not one for buying such things, but I picked one up at the SEMA Show a couple of years back. They are pretty slick, you just have to play with it a bit. I used it many times to track the performance upgrades I made to my Cobra, however I never tried it on my Lightning. For the money, you just can't go wrong.

Lightningquick,
To be honest, I've had the G-Tech longer than I've owned the L (got it about two weeks earlier), but I didn't want to carry it until the L was broken in. Too tempting.
Then, of course, I got a new engine, and although I've been less conservative breaking in the new one, I was afraid the tranny wouldn't hold together with my vibration issue.
Sooooo, now that I've got my vibration free L it will soon be time to run it. Going to give the tranny a few hundred miles and then beat the snot out of it. Of course, I got the L back yesterday and promptly had a vasectomy done today and I haven't got the ***** to put any miles on anything.
Give me week, I will run it for sure. Been dying too. Pretty slick device and seems pretty accurate on the vehicles I've tried it on.
One problem, you need to know the vehicle weight to perform horsepower testing. Your guess is as good as mine as to what my truck weighs.
