Post Finally Vibration Free!!

Got the truck back today after a quick overnighter for a new transmission.

Now I know what everybody means when they say vibration free from idle to full bore. Before it would thrum, thrum, thrum for the last 1000 RPM before an upshift and 95+ mph was pretty scary feeling. No more. As smooth at 110 as it is at 60. Way Cool!!

By the way, you should see the size of this hunk of metal when it's sitting in its plastic carrying case. They had it sitting beside my old engine. Can you say BIG?

Anyway, only 7 weeks to get this thing right. Time to go have some fun. I didn't want to before, fearing a major purging in the middle of the fast lane.

Hey Factory Tech, looks like that's three on this board that have slipped through.

Thumbs up

Hey WHAT04, Congrats again! Seems like you're following in my tire tracks with the transmission and the foglights now... Hmm, does this mean that our collective 3 Lightnings were consecutively built??? It'll be interesting to find out...

Cheers!
