? about JDM fan

Has anyone installed a capacitor ( like a 1 farad stereo cap) to alleviate the slight blink with the lights when the fan kicks on?

Should't need a cap for just e-fans; but a .5 farad would be more than enough!

How have you wired the fan in?

I don't have any dimming even if it starts on the high speed setting.
Did you use the original hook up kit?

No dimming here, I have a cap and 200 amp alternator. I due have a volt gauge and can see the load that the fans put on the electrical system everytime it turns on. Mine never dimmed, the first wire harness did burn up thou.

Where does this go? I have to drive to Florida next two weeks at
night and it would be nice to not lose the lights?

TIA

My cap is mainly to stop my stereo from draining my battery during hard use. I think my 200amp alternator did more to help with handling the electric fan. My truck still will waste a battery in about 2 yrs, I only run heavy duty truck batteries for this reason.

Caps are fun to install, don't get shocked.
