Cool Stoneguard protectors.

Installed the Stoneguard 3M protectors today on my fogs & lamps. Very nice. Took a little bit of fiddlin to get used to how they apply, but they went on nice and clear.

For note, they are about 1-2mm thick of a rubbery/plastic with an adhesive on the back. Beats out the fog lamp covers that were on there previously (thanks for the part #'s on that Wyldman, they were great until I found this).

They do have a complete kit available for the car, but I'm curious if anyone has done this? This is not a thin film, it is pretty thick and I was wondering what it looks like ON the car? Also, I have no installers in my area, so I'd have to do it myself, which is another thing that scares me some. I was able to handle headlamps, but a sheet the size of the bumper? I dunno.

Maybe someone knows it the kit for the car is a different plastic then the one for the lamps? Thinner or such?

Daniel

Yep we have them too. We put them on when we went for the last Rally. They are 100% clear, and can not tell they are on till you get really close to the head lights and driving lights.
