I am not sure of the measurments, But just get some QA1's they make a set for the lightning. Any of the venders can get them for you.

I fully understand what you're saying. I just installed the Beltech Nitro Active shocks (not the Nitro drop shocks) on my front end that has a 2" drop. I like them for the price, about $60 a piece. The truck I think handles better than stock around corners.

Bert.

You should measure your own truck. All sit differently.

The "extended length" may differ from mfg to mfg. Some want the static height, others want the length of the shock on full extension.

In the front, the collapsed length is essentially the static height less the space between the control arm and the frame rail (ignore the bump stop). But be sure to take some extra height away because of the leverage effect of the control arms -- the control arms travel more at the shock eye than at the frame.

In the rear, just look at the shock rod. You can see how far it has been going in.

The tops are all threaded rods. The exact threading is irrelevant - the new shocks will come with their own bushings and nuts.

The front bottoms are tie bars. Measure it on the truck if you need precision. The rear bottoms are 12 mm eyes (1/2 works fine).
