Took my L. to my alignment guy to have the cam bolts installed, but he decided he didn't want to do it until the dealer fixed the control arm bolt sliding problem. So, I drove over to the dealer and demanded they apply the fix. Even showed them pic of the problem (thanks, clonetek, great pics), and the service mgr. could hear the skrunk as I turned around. He took info and said he would contact SVT and get back to me. Anyway, as this is going on Stacie Dunford approached me and said that the dealer, Barber Ford in Ventura, had just received word that they would be receiving three more Lightnings, none of them spoken for. He wasn't sure, but he thought they would be a silver (prettiest), black, and white. Their policy is to sell @ MSRP, but I wouldn't be surprised if they would actually deal on these, considering that buyers apparently are not lining up. It just came to me why perhaps the 2000 L.s are not selling out like the '99s. What were gas prices like last year? Maybe for a lot of folks driving a vehicle that gets 11 mpg on $1.95 gas is a big consideration. DUH!

I just received a red L from the factory this morning that does not have an owner. The dealer will sell it for MSRP.

I saw a black at MacPherson Ford. They are asking $5000 over (they are nuts)
