2.Ford said it was not on the truck yet.
3.My white lightning rolled off the truck 3 hours later.

So you have the fastest transported Lightning. I think the others are basing their claims on driving experiences.
Anyone could have the fastest Lightning if they were getting it towed by a Black Lightning.

Remember, light reflects off white, (less drag)and the darker the color, the more light it absorbs, (More drag) !!!!!!
Also there is less drag the farther you get above the equator!!!!

I agree white has got to be the fastest. I got mine yesterday 5/3 and it wasn't even due at the dealer until 5/8. That's 5 days faster. I guess they use the black ones for special deliveries since you aren't as likely to sling the load around in the bed at a slower speed!

Come, come now. We all know from our primary school days that neither white nor black are colors.
Therefore I guess the battle shall be contended by the RED and silver camps.
I know which way I'm leaning.

What04 - All I can say is the red L I ordered still doesn't have a build date and it was ordered March 3rd, while the white one was ordered 2 weeks after that and got here yesterday. Besides my white L will be broken in by the time the red one gets here so it is bound to be faster than the red one. Therefore, based on the angle of the sun, the amount of daylight this time of year and the fact that the moon is not currently full, white must be the fastest.

doesn't matter what your paint color is. what matters are the blue, yellow, orange, aluminum, colored accents hiding in your bed. my black/yellow combo cost my buddy and his 99 C5 a beer last night.
Okay...since nobody has chimed-in for the silver L owners...
I'll agree that black could be the heaviest, since it does 'absorb' light, and that white reflects it, so it is too light, and therefore no traction. So...SILVER is a nice mix of black and white, therefore giving it the perfect weight balance. Not too heavy like black, and not too light like white, but just right
