Unhappy

Yoda,
So sorry to hear the news. Here's an idea: It's not that far of a drive from Sedona to Phoenix. Why don't you head back to Phoenix Sat evening, pick her up and come back up the hill. I've done that several times on snowmobiling trips picking up my wife on Sat and immediately heading back up the mountain.
FYI, my computer @ home is temporarily down, if you need to speak w/me call me at work or email me at work wijatyk@ftimeters.com

My wife was not planning on joining me, but this morning she asked how many other wives/girlfriends will be on the trip. So how many wives/girlfriends will be joining us (only one per male I assume)?

adp,
I didn't even think about dinner reservations being needed. Can you recommend a place that we should all eat? I think it would be great for us all to have dinner together.

Peter,

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I would recommend the Airport restaurant. The food is good, not too expensive and there is lots of parking.

I'll make reservations if all agree. We might be able to get our own little room.

Thanks all for the votes to bring my wife. We'll talk about it tonight.

adp, I think the Airport Restaurant is a great idea. We’ll already be there for pictures, and parking is definitely going to be a problem wherever we go. Besides, this is a driving tour, not a culinary tour.

OK, reservations for 20 + or - folks Saturday the 6th of May at the Sedona Airport Restaurant, 7:00 PM. If we have 16 or less we get our own area overlooking the runway. I need to call them to give a more precise figure on Saturday morning.

Tally Ho!

Joel,
Even if there might not be many other females, have you're wife join us anyhow--she'll enjoy the drive. I was going over the iteneray again last night w/my neighbor and he thought it will be an absolutely beautiful scenic drive.

My wife said she would come if there are other wives and/or girl friends along. So count on one more. Yoda, Peter's idea sounds great. If you can stand the drive, bring your wife on Sunday. We would miss you if you couldn't make both days.

Sedona is busy on a Saturday night. If you all want me to make dinner reservations some place let me know. Being a Mc Donalds guy myself, I don't like to spend over $1.33 for dinner but let me know your preferences.

I read my wife all your encouraging responses last night. She said she really appreciated the kind comments (as do I), but she said she would rather rest at home with her cats on Saturday after all (this week has been a real bear for her at work). Oh well, I guess I be bach’ing it. See ya all Saturday at 8:30am.

Joel,
Sorry to hear that the plan didn't change for you. Oh, well we all gave it our best.

Yoda,
What's the verdict. Are you still gonna be in for 2 days? Come on, pick up your wife Saturday evening (not that long of a drive at all), or take up JRW67's offer. No pressure here from us.
