Opinions on Jet-Hot Header Coating

I am seriously debating getting my headers Jet-Hot Coated. My under hood temps are getting pretty outrageuos with the new engine set-up. I have SS JDM/Kook Long Tubes and those babies radiate some serious heat. The Jet-Hot Sterling has been reported to reduce surface temps on the headers up to 300 degrees, or 50%. With just normal driving my coolant stays pretty high and everything under the hood is so hot that I can't touch it for very long. I just want to get everyones take on this before I go through the all-day task of removing the headers to send them to Jet-Hot. What do you think??? Worth it or not?

Mine are jet-hot coated and I'm pleased with how well the coating has held up.

I have used this coating from Jet-Hot. Never had a problem with it.

JET-HOT 2000™ - Formulated for very high temperatures, this rugged coating protects substrates up to 2,450°F, heat levels sometimes encountered in Rodding and Off-Road applications. Available in black, blue or grey.

Did you notice and difference in under hood temps?

I went with the Jet Hot 2000 and have been very impressed with the results. The under hood temp is definitely not as hot and you can touch the headers within a matter of minutes after shutting off the engine. It's a rugged looking coating and I wouldn't necessarlily recommend it for a show truck. I've had no issues with its durability - no chipping - no flaking.
