Angry Vibration at Idle?

I have myself an incredibly annoying vibration at idle. It sounds almost like a heat sheild rattling against the exhaust, but I just cant seem to tell where exactly its coming from. Its easier to hear from inside the truck, cuz outside, everything is too loud to hear it clearly. I plan on exploring further tonight after work, but has anyone had this problem, and tracked it down already? Maybe mine is the same thing, and it will save me lots of time searching. Anyway...thanks in advance to anyone who knows what it might be.

Don't know if you still have a muffler or not, but when I was trying to raise my exhaust tips, the muffler got slightly raised and put it within a millimeter or two of a heat shield right at the front of the muffler.

This heat shield has a dimple running down the middle of it (for strenght I guess) and it is this dimple that comes in contact. Otherwise it doesn't look like the heatshield is anywhere close to the muffler.

Just my observations so far. Can really set off a buzz right under the passenger seat.

Yeah, I still have the muffler...that could be what it is...judging from the sound. Thanks, I'll check that.
