'99 red and 2k red different???
I finally got close enough to a 2k red L to check out the paint... impressive, and to me anyway the paint looks richer/redder than on the '99s I've seen. Is this just me, or is the paint on the red 2ks really different from that on the red '99s?

Carnuba wax yellows in the sun. May be the difference you see. I use www.zainobros.com and didn't notice any difference between my '99 Red L and my '00 Red L.

As far as I know, they both have the E4 (or is it 4E?) paint code.

Side by Side Sunday and no difference in color. One thing is for sure, the lug nuts are different. The 99 nut will not fit the 2000, 2000's are longer. So you guys on hold for Ford nut are stuck waiting.
