Thumbs up New Personal Best

I ran my truck at TCD in Monroe this past Friday (3/24/06). The only changes that I have made since last year are: 6# instead of 4# pulley, Bassani off-road mids and cat-back, removed tailgate @ track. My best run was:

60 ft - 1.5969
330 ft - 4.7108
1/8 ET - 7.354
1/8 MPH - 93.19
1/4 ET - 11.610
1/4 MPH - 114.81

Other mods are: JL cold air, RWTD Predator tune, and Zex 75hp N2O.

Stock longblock, stock unported eaton, stock TB, no electric fan, stock exhaust manifolds, stock torque converter, stock suspension, no lightweight rims/skinnies, and always with more than 1/2 tank of gas.

As most people have noted before, the exhaust seemed to soften the low end while pulling harder up top. That is why I changed to the 6# pulley.

It's probably in your tune. If you're not running 17-18* timing at WOT and 11.9~12.1:1 A/F, then you are leaving horsepower on the table.

CONGRATS 1KWIK6

Sadly enough, 25K in Motors and Mods and here I sit still not officially beating my Personal Best which was done in 2003 on the Stock Block / Zex Combo (Ok officially I just havent been to the track "YET" with the JDM Motor but still....)

And double ditto and flash back on the amount of timing the stock block allowed me to run. That run was made with the truck 100% stock other than 6lbs of pulley and a 75 shot of zex (and a 19 degree Nitrous Program). After that I did the Tranny Mod, 58" Bars, Accu-Fab, Ported Eaton, Bla Bla Bla, and still never beat the 11.81 @ 114 MPH, not even with the first built motor &^$%@(&$^%(@&$^%(@&$^%@$
BUT SOON built motor #2 will make some passes and HELLO NEW PB........

Very impressive results Bro, CONGRATS AND ENJOY
