Big Problem with Bassani Cats install HELP!!!

O.K. Lets see if any of you have had a similar problem because I'm really stuck here. I installed bassani's high flow cats with mid pipe and I'm having some serious fitment problems with the cat back. I have a Borla catback and it doesn't seem to be anywhere near its stock location after the install. The cat's and mid pipe went in realtively easy and seem to be in the correct location, but I can't get the darn CB to get anywhere near where it was. It seems the entire CB is pushed to far out and back, towards the rear tire. Before I started the tips sat nicely in the kit cutout but now they stick out about 4-6 inches and against the back side of the cutout. The muffler is the root of this problem because it is sitting too far towards the rear tire (out and back) and is not under the hanger where it needs to be. Is this because I have Borla? Do I need to get a Bassani CB to make this all fit? Please help, I'm stumped! I'm considoring taking it to a muffler shop and have them get the CB where it needs to be. I'm so pissed off at this thing, I didn't even get to here it after the install becuase I can't get the darn CB in. Please HELP!!!

The reason it's not fitting, might be that the muffler clamps crushed down the pipe and it will not slide all the way in. you can get an expander at a parts house and reopen the pipe. Also a block of wood and a large hammer may work also. Hope this help's. I had a simular problem with a Silver Bullet set up. Artie

I did... They had to plasma cut some of the piping out to make it all fit. Now it looks great and sounds even better! Man these Bassani's are LOUD. Sounds like a freakin' T-REX now.

Thanks for the help
