Who's looking to set new records @ SSOTN? II

It's spring time baby! This time I'm looking to blast into the 10's. Same combo as last time there 4 months ago. This time it will be tuned for c16 fuel and the tune set on kill! I just prey that my last problem with blowing coolant can withstand a few dyno pulls and track runs. No old fuel or crappy mix of pump and race gas this time. I'm going for broke, I figure if it's going to blow the head gasket might as well do it pushing the limit. I think I can back up my 11.02 pass and straight into the 10's with a new tune, Hell this will be the first time my L has been on a dyno in about 1 1/2 years. As you can see I am pumped for this event! Where's BTJ I just might have to call him out! Goood luck to all , see you there.
Josh

I will be there, not looking to run a new best or anything though. With the added weight of the bar now I highly doubt it. Maybe I will, dare I say, take the hitch off and drop the spare. Or hell, maybe I will just run my new Dually and see what it will run. -Mat-

Hopefully I'll have a new best, even though my best isn't much. I don't have the luxury of a built motor or aftermarket blower like most people on here lately. 12.87 is my best. I've added a few more things since then so I'm hoping to better my time

Looking to run a new best this event. Maybe even reach that next level and nip into the 10s.
See you there and good luck.

I heard the other day that there is a new rule at the tracks, that we must wear fire protectant jackets? Is there any truth to this?

BTW, my ticket just came in the mail today!

Like yoo man we'd need to know that, ANYONE HERE THE SAME ???
BTW my ticket came last night too

As for setting a new record, If I dont break my got dam Stock Block ET from 2003 my chit is coming home in a box *^($@%(@$%(@&$%(@%$

Sadly enough my 2003 11.81 @ 114 MPH is still my best ET to date. Ran plenty of 11.8's and 9's in 04 and 05, but none better than the .81.
All of those were on spray, at Cecil I WILL NOT be using Nitrous, and I do plan on getting kicked without it
(not going for 10's the first time out, but I am looking for low 11's off spray

Hey guys,
Sorry to say but I may have a ticket for sale, but I won't know till last minute.
Bottom line is some parts ordered may not arrive in time and I may have to reschedule a dyno tune. I will keep everyone posted.

Well, my Lightning will not be down there. More on that later. Looks like I will be seeing what the "fatback" can do. Can't wait to party it up in Delaware! If anyone wants to get together Friday or Saturday night my number is 203-521-7557. -Mat-

This week won't move fast enough....

At least I took off on Thursday to go get a dyno tune at JLP for some new mods I just finished putting on today I will post on that after I get back from JLP.

On a side note, is anyone bringing a jack that maybe I could borrow there? I would hate to have to lug my 100 lb floor jack to Cecil.

Looks like I will be running my new 28x11.5 hoosier QTP on the back with 22's on the front

I'll have a jack if you need to borrow one. Will also have a cordless 1/2" impact. I'll be in an 03'DSG and their will be a 94' cobra parked with me.
