More questionsss

Im too excited to think really, but I am picking up my 2001 L with 35k miles on it tomorrow night at 5pm in Jersey =).

Anything that I should look for on an 01 that would be bad, like the intercooler problem with 99-00's i believe?

Is there any type of warranty I could buy from ford to cover the truck?

Thanks guys,

-Sean

crawl under truck from drivers side and look at white tag on side of transmission. if it says 1J, you have a transmission that Ford has issued a TSB for, that may break at any time (the mechanical diode). There is no recall on it, just a TSB, so it's your money if it's out of warranty and it breaks. 35,000 sounds about right for break time. 2001's were the only ones to have this particular tranny problem. (i know, i have one)
