SuperChip Just Received!
Good step by step advice. To add a few...take out the computer and take it apart very carefully as instructed. The use of a very small and stone polished flat bladed screw driver is the best way to get the coating stuff off the contact points. Be aware that there are two coats. The top one is bulky and comes off in visable chunks. A small soft brush helps to keep everything in order. The other coating is very thin and tough. As you rub the points (don't go too far back into the board or the connection will be destroyed) you can see small dry clear flakes come off. When you feel a scrapeing feel you are down to the silver metal where you need to be to get contact. Do this to both sides of the contact points the clean up with isopropyl alcohol and cotton pad. Veiwing through a paint loop is helpfull. Be sure to tape the chip onto the computer after sliding it into place.
I have had mine on for some 1500 miles and enjoyed every mile. No problems whatsoever, except you always want to keep the foot into the floorboard and that will eventually lead to BIG trouble. Enjoy
