Post strange race today

I was coming home to put my new decal on 'Eaton inside' and guess what comes up next to me?

It's a late 80's convertible mustang, lunchtime. It sounds mean great exhaust, he looks me over nothing ahead of either of us and bam, we both just putt away.

I know this game well.

Next light same as last. I give him a little whirl from you know who, he responds back with a hardy exhaust 'hell yes'. Light turns green 'bingo Lucy' ate him up big time, apparently he was racing me for about 400 feet before I knew it I was about 1000 feet ahead before I looked back.

At the next light I roll my window down and we complimented each other’s vehicles. Really nice guy. His mustang has this strange roll cage from the door only, kind of like the z3.

So light goes green and we both give it half throttle and guess who tries to take us both a brand new Bentley?

WTF, WTF, WTF, its go time. Bam the guy exits with me at my turn and he points ahead, go time again.

Dude you don't have a chance, light turns green and he's smoking those tires, WTF is this. Now it's not stop light to stop light but 80mph max turns.

Lucky this is my turf; he was pretty fast but not fast enough. He's still putting it down thou, and I decide there’s no one in front of us so I’ll show him up.

I even scared myself a little through one turn, I look behind me and about 1/8 mile back he's pulling into this really expensive Bob Newhard style of 'so you want to be a millionaire' condos.

I didn't know that these new Bentleys where all that fast.

Strange but true!

Don't know the name of the Bentley, but I think one that they make has around 600hp. Don't know any stats though.

Thumbs up

It was probably a "Continental T." The April 99 issue of Motor Trend has it rated at 420hp @ 4000rpm and 650lb-ft @ 2200rpm from a turbo-charged 6.75L. It also claims a 14.5 @ 98.3mph quarter and a 0-60 of 6.2sec. The Bentley weighs in at 5400lbs with a top speed of 170mph.

Too bad that guy paid $299,900 to get smoked!

Nice Kill!

Great. Now we're going to get all those Bentley owners coming over here and calling us *** homos.

You definitely win for most unusual kill, so far. Good work on the big game hunt.
