Well I know I'm gonna catch hell for this but...
On the home from work I noticed the unmistakeable head lights of a Camaro behind me at a light(like three cars back).I launched just to say "here I am",he made it up to me and he reved up as he got next to me and I took off(no, I repeat NO cars in front of us,back road 4 lane)I pulled him hard up to 100, I had him by 4-5 cars when I shut her down. He slowed up when he caught me and wanted another shot,I waited for the road to straighten back out and GOOD BYE! I shut her down at 100 again,but the run was much closer this time,maybe 2-3 cars.
We turned onto an eve more secluded road and went from a slow roll,like 10,he was w/ me at first,I pulled by 2-3 cars until like 65/70 then he pulled almost even,it was that shift to third,then I pulled again by about 3-4 cars by 100 and quit again.
I pulled into a Mickey D's and these 2 kids get out, big smiles on their faces. It's a kid that lives on the end of my street(owns a f150 w/ a Cervanis hood..nice),and a kid I saw in town telling me "wait till I get my car runnin". Now he says "wait two weeks and I'll hand you YOUR head",turns out he ordered a super charger...Uh oh,I may be in trouble.Scratch that,I am in trouble!

Hey Hitman,
Awesome kill.
But, don't sweat his blower. If he puts a supercharger on an LS1, it will be a very short time till he puts holes in his pistons. Numerous companies make blowers for LT1's and LS1's and they claim reliable hp, but unless he drops in lower compression pistons that are forged, he'll have his motor melted before you know it.

Hey Hitman, what all have you done to your L. Not to take away from your kill, but I also have a 2000 Z28 that is running 13.4 and is bone stock. I have raced the two of them and my L will beat ther Z28 till about the 1/8th and then the Camaro comes alive like no other. Just curious to see so I know what I need to do to make my L spank her, I like it better.

I'm bone stock,but 3 of my 4 ls1 kills were automagics,the last one was a stick w/ about a 19 yr old kid behind the wheel so who knows how good a gage that was. I make no excuses,take no prisoners,a win is a win,a loss is a loss.

Don't bottle a blown engine, I know every company that makes gas says it's safe, but the good lord didn't intend it. Mixing the very cold gas from a nitrous charge with the heated and over atmospheric pressured air from a S/C does unnatural things to the combustion chamber, and in time will only lead to grief.

 

Nice Kill! Still trying to find an f-body that will run me on the street.....I dare to say they are on to us.

 

To be honest I wasn't really intrested in the NOS,I'm not one to risk blowing up my truck. I just wanted to get the pros and cons from those in the "know".Especially since a few fellow L owners are on the "bottle".
