Lightning block same as 3 valve 5.4?

Not sure if it possible but i was wondering if the rotating assembly of a Lighning block would work in the new 3 valve 5.4 out of an 05 F-150? Has anyone researched this or done the work before. i want to increase the power with out blowing my bottom out and i cant find stronger parts for my exact engine. Any help would be appreciated!

you could have just googled the lightning's engine?
But Since i'm nice I'll give you the info you want.

Lightning engine is a low compressiong 2v SOHC 5.4L with an eaton blower.

theres differences

yeah... I don't see why you coudn't slap 3v heads on an L bottom end, you'd just have to change the intake manifold to the 5.43v design... which means no bolting on the L intake/supercharger. It'd probably be just as cheap to build your 3v and not swap an L shortblock in though... That way you could reliably build it past 450hp too...just an idea

give them a call.
internally your block is the same as any other 5.4 block. but i'm not sure the the difference in compression for your 3 valve compared to the 2 valve. you may need a different piston than what everyone else uses on there L's to get the desired CR.
