20" rims w/ 275-45-20 for the lightning question

I know everyone says the stock HD rims are extremely heavy. I can get a killer deal on some FRRP Harley Rims. Are they the same thing? My only concern is the weight. These FRRP rims are identical, but I'm not sure if they are OEM or not.

Also, how will a tire sized 275-45-20 look on a rim. I'm thinking it might be a little skinny, but I'm no tire guru.

I'd like to upgrade to 20" and a little tallre tire for daily driving. The 4.10's are a BLAST on the street, but it hurts a little in the pocket book driving to events that are a little far off. In Michigan, everything is at least 45 minutes away.

I'm not sure on the wheel question since I don't know much about the FRRP Harley Wheels. What width do they come in?

On the tires I personally feel they would be a little too narrow looking for the back end, the front would be OK though.

There's a nice tire comparison calculator here for looking at size differneces:
http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

I went with 275/40 - 20 in the front & 315/35 - 20 in the rear with my first set of 20's which were 20x9.5 all the way around, the rear looked OK on the wheel, definately wider and the staggered look was nice...but the sidewall was not squared off looking, there was some rounding of the sidewall since it really requires a 10-12" wheel for that size tire

I now run the same size tires on my new wheels which are 20x9.5 fronts & 20x11.5 rears....the 315 looks better on the rear now since the sidewalls are a bit more squared off.

Sorry I do not have any photos of the front 20's showing the width, only the new rear which is wider than the Harley 20" wheel (I assume).

okay, one more question.

Are the holes for the lugnuts drilled for a 14mm or 12mm on the STOCK Harley Davidson Rims.?

I got the factory Harley rims on my truck a few years ago. I am pretty sure they were drilled for 14mm but they work fine on my 99 L. Tire wise they come from factory with the 275/45/20 and to tell you the truth, that size has been my favorite. I've tried 295/45/20 and they were too tall. They did ride smoother though. 295/40/20 and they were too thin. They looked great width wise but still pretty harsh on the road. Finally I just bought some 275/45/20 Kuhmos again and cannot be happier. They look a lot better than the goodyear gtII's.

Here is a picture of the 275/45/20 Goodyears on the harley rims.
