Consider yourself lucky, I took delivery of mine this past Monday. Valance scratched underneath on both sides, 4 inch long scratch on lower part of passenger side door. Steering wheel slightly off center, but alignment seems ok. Goes back to dealer tomorrow for paint repair.

In spite of all this, this baby is a mechanical rocket. I love it. Been on vacation all week, as you say "drove a lot" and have accumulated 1200 miles. Gets stronger each day.

Glad yours came in with no problems, it would be nice if we could just go to Ontario and pick them up ourselves. Enjoy.

Hey PD Lightning, I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and was telling him about my new Lightning coming in next friday. He told me he knows a guy who just bought a new white Lightning within the last month out here. His name is Clint Milteer.

PD Lightning,

Took delivery of mine last month: hood scratched, gound effects not aligned, both inside door pannels had been scratched, pulls to the right. Paint ok,but had one fisheye on the hood (will be fixed when hood is totally repainted for delivery scratch.

Fit and finish..... you are kidding me saying great. Headliner doesn't have trim around rear window (cheap Ford design) large gap by design on a pillar, dash joints (by design) Outside rear window plastic trim does not fill the opening (by design). Intercooler hose hanging in the breeze, but connected (had to use zip ties to secyre it).

Yes it is a truck and mine is a Red Rocket. Quality, hmmmmmm..... doesn't come close to
Rice burners assembled in the states. Sorry guys, love the truck. However, Ford could definitely improve the quality in the fit and finish area.

Post Delivery Inspection Results

Delivery of my 2K L, WHITE, (the fastest color )was Wednesday, 19 Apr. Truck was dropped shipped to Metro Ford from Oregon with excellent results.
Because of the education that I received from this forum and its supurb members, I knew what to look for on the delivery inspection. (Long Post but informative)
Issues...
1.Scratched Valance......not existant
2.Grey grill....no way, it is black!
3.Alignment...steers straight,no pulling,no clunk, but. .the lower control arm bolt on drivers side is moving a quarter of an inch.
4.Paint Damage,... none, they even left the front plate bracket off per my repeated request.
5.Piston slap.....none
6.Orange peel.. excellent paint quality..got even better with two wax jobs
7.Intercooler...no leaks or reservoir level drop
8.Loose ground effects....none , all secure
9.Supercharger....WOW , need I say more!!!!!!
10.Cracked Fog light lens...no cracks!!
11.Steering wheel/airbag fit.....great!

The fit and finish is Excellent!!!

The first day home and I installed the AIM 2" lowering shackles. ( Pre-ordered them two weeks prior). (Drove a-lot )
The next day she received her first wax/detail. (Drove a-lot )
The next day, first I drove a-lot then had my Snuglid, matching lid liner and Bedrug installed. (Another wax job!!)
The next day, I drove a-lot , then had the windows tinted lightly.
Everyday, I went to the gas station !!!!!!

This truck is better than being a kid living in the candy store!!!!!!! WOW

Excellent treatment from the broker I ordered the vehicle from and all the vendors I dealt with. If anyone needs referrals, please advise.

Sorry for the long post, but wanted to share my excitement with all my fellow L owners.
