Ok, so I've read various write ups now that it definitely appears that the word is out and not many people want to run us. Well, here is an off the wall idea: Let's replace our Lightning logo with the standard F150 5.4 triton V8 logo. Maybe that will get the racing back. Of course, wait a minute, who would want to race a standard powered F150.
Just a silly thought.

 

Yes but the problem with disguising yourself is you get races that aren't really races. I would just like to see more of the f-bodies, Cobras, AMGs, M3s, Audi Quattros, even Porsches, etc. give it a try, win or lose, at least it will be fun.

I know what you mean. My red truck with the yellow stripes just makes matters even worst. It's like if it looks bad, it must be bad. People crack me up. The strip is the only place I find people to run and then only cars, no trucks.

Getting Slower each day

 

Tried to get a Firebird to show me his stuff today. Boy wouldn't come near me. Side by side at a light each behind another vehicle and he's eyeing up my fresh coat of Zaino from one end to the other. Light changes and I leave REAL slow to leave space. He hangs back and stays there. Get up above 20 and I know it won't downshift so I push up to the speed limit, 45. He still hangs back about 2-3 cars, slow down all the way to 35 and he paces me. This goes on for about 3/4 of a mile and he turns off. Oh well, maybe next time.
