Another JDM monster released!

Well, as some of you know, my truck just went under the knife and came out with a new motor. It recieved one of JDM's latest and greatest NVH motors, unfortunatly, its still a low CR (8.6:1) motor, so its not nearly seeing its potential with the MP blower. However it has a BRAND NEW cam design, 120lb springs, and the latest JDM head port. Jim went above and beyond to Get'r-done for me working well into the night, and even declined to stop for a pizza I was willing to buy. The crew did an absolute flawless job on the install, and Jim absolutely NAILED the tune dead perfect. The truck runs better than it ever has. About a half hour after signing the check, I jumped in, and drove that biatch 11.5 hrs down the east coast without one single problem. She's still on a wussy break in tune, with very little timing, and a very safe and flat AF ratio, and low boost, and it still made over 500hp!!!!!

To the guys and gal at JDM....Jim, J3, Julie, Shawn, Craig, Joe, Jay, and anyone else who had a hand in it....I can't thank you enough! I couldn't ask for it to be any better. You guys are the best!!!!! I'll be heading to the 1/8mile track friday for some numbers.

Now...anyone wanna donate a built tranny and 3.73's to a good fund????

I'm guessing your back in Charleston.

What track you going to?

Low Country is not open on Fridays yet last I heard. You want to meet for lunch one day, and have a beer? I need to see your truck, and maybe talk you into giving me a test-ride in it.

Well...lunches don't work so well for me as I'm working 7-7 7 days a week, though some weekends I can get out at 330. Give me a call if you want to meet up in the evening though.

Great results! I finally just got my truck retuned with my built JDM motor and MP blower. With low timing the truck made 500rwhp at full temp on cold weather tune. I am very happy especially since I got atleast 16mpg on my last tank of gas. Great crew down at JDM. I can't wait to go back for a whipple at the end of the summer, Runs great with the MP but I know a larger displacement blower will help feed the huge cams in my truck.

Congrats Whipper.

Glad to hear your truck is up and running and everything you want.

Not that surprised though.

Son of a bitch!!!

Boo to you!!!!! I can't afford a new motor with this damn wedding coming up!!! Hope mine don't blow. I'll be in deep ****. I just get in it and play some mp3 files of some trucks going down the track and pretend.!!!

Congrats on the new power plant. My truck is going in for 373 transplants next week hopefully. Pumps and maf is here too. I gotta get on the horn with jdm about my new tune though. Keep forgetting. It's almost April!!!

With the convertor, new gears and motor......i know what your next mod is going to be............

CAGE!!!

I know you are going to love your combo!(Sounds like mine but I have less spring for now).
I will be chasing a 10 sec pass this year before deciding if I want a better power adder.

I want to see this new monster too! Whip, how long are you going to be here in Charleston? FFW in Atlanta is early April. JDM will be there. I'm planning on going and getting a tune on mine.

I'll be at Low Country saturday night. Not hard to spot....black L with MA tags. Well, we were supposed to leave around april 1st, but the jokes on us (april fools day), as our ship is nowhere near ready to sail. April 10th maybe?

I don't know if I can make it Saturday. Remember to listen for the announcer saying that the pits are open between rounds, as that is the bracket race night. You might get a lot more passes in late after the brackets are done. Sharpshooter told me today that the track is hooking good. Did you bring your sticky tires? If not let me know, as I have a fresh set of Hoosiers that J3 hooked me up with, that you can borrow if you need them. I will call you.

Congrats...Whip for achieving what alot of us still are attempting to do. Would you mind taking the time while your working 777 to email me at burge98@***.net and let me know approx. how much I need to save to do a turn key longblock in and out. Goes for anybody else or any other vendor. I'm still learning here.

Thanks,

Tim
