Cheap L insurance!!!

Well I called to get my L insured today and I was surprised to find the low rate I got. They never even asked me if it was a Lightning. All she said is f150 v8--- and I said yes thats it.. Hey I am not lying becuase that is what the truck is listed as.. I got full coverage for all year for only 426 dollars.. I was thinking it was going to be alot more.

I tried the same thing and they couldn't find it until I told them it was a Lightning. I still only pay $515 a year full coverage.

When you say "full coverage"
Wat does that mean ?
Collision - Comprehensive - uninsured motorist ?
What are the limits and the deductible

Wow you guys must be really old and have no traffic infractions ever,
I'm 21 and own my L to get Insurance on my 02 L they automatically know its a L because when you give them the VIN# it comes up as
F150 SVTLT and my insurance is $1200 every six months for full coverage and my deductable is 1000 for both comp & Colision. i've never had a wreck only 2 speeding tickets. So i'm gettin screwed.

Im 21 years old also and I have no tickets or wrecks and it is 400 and change for 12 months, that is under my second vehicle, my escalade is 1800 a year. The insurance company does not know it is an L and I gave them my vin number. They said it is fully covered no questions asked. It is insured at book value 18,500.

Now the truth comes out. Being a second vehicle it's a whole lot cheaper. If I were insuring either my L or my BMW by itself it would be about $1900 per year, but together with the same coverage on each it's only $360 more for both.

When I had a beater to drive around it was actually much cheaper to insure the Lightning and the beater than the lightning by itself. So even if I didn't have a second car I would go get a piece of junk insure to lower my premium. It's been this way for the past three auto insurers I've had.

The truth????? I was never lying in the first place..I still think that is a good price for an L being 21 years old with 3 cars. Plus I told them the truck stays in the garage for 5 or 6 months out of the year also.
