Post Looking for that wildman!

What ever happened to that guy that had is rear rims widened, he posted some pics, but how did it turn out?

I'm now interested in doing the same.

What size tires/makers did he decide on, and did you heard of any adverse affects, such as did they fit?

Also if it was successful, and whom did it?

I believe that was BABolt. He had a set of L wheels widened and had to polish them himself. I don't know if he has them done yet though. I believe he bought Goodyear F1's for them to match the front, 335's...??

You might be right. I saw this dude stuck on the side of the road with the left rear fender all torn up. There was pieces of fiberglass in the tire and half a wheel layin' in the street. The guy didn't look too happy. Sure was a pretty lightning, guess you shouldn't mess with stuff if you don't know what your doing.

Well Billybob,

You got one thing correct, I don't know what I'm doing. That’s why I contacted one of the premiere motorcycle rim wideners in the U.S. It looks like it's going to be about $700 just to get them widened. They haven't contacted me back yet, but hey it's still the weekend. I still think BABolt was/is on to something here.

If anyone else is interested contact www.kosman.com

See what I mean by, 'I don't know what I'm doing'.

Thanks Silver2000.
