My 2000 has already broken a fog lamp. Spent the last few moments reading the threads on this subject.
Hope their is an alternative to the stock Ford Fog lamp because the warranty is not forever.

there is a magnetic force coupled to the flux capacitor in this truck that really makes it fast. An unfortunate side affect is that it attracts rocks like nails to a magnete and the magnet is located in the middle of the fog lamps. Unless you like spending $110.00 a set for frequent replacements, buy fog lamp lens covers available in smoked ( look great on my red truck see my post on bug deflectors) clear or amber. They push on and haven't blown of yet, although I push on them once in a while to make sure they are totally seated. Wyldmand gave me mine (thanks again).

By the way, what size is the stock fog lamps for the 2000 L?
