01-04 Lightning
01-04 Lightning?
What will an 01 to 04 lightning run stock in the 1/4 mil. A friend told me they would run high 12's if u get it to hook right. is that true i dont think it is i thought they ran low 14's. any ways what does it take to make a lightning run mid 12's with out nOS can i do it will tires pully and pcm and exs. system

I've seen stockers run-
2001-2002 13.4-13.7
2003-2004 13.2-13.5
my previous 2001 went 13.59 and my current 2004 was 13.43 @ 103 stock.
now it's down to 12.46 @ 109 w/3lb pulley, SCTw/100oct, Muffler, T-Bars and DOT Hoosiers.

I have not run mine yet but I've been told it should run high 12's where I'm at, at 3.5k above sea level. I have a 4lb, preditor, ngk tr6, K/N Kit. I have owned performance cars and truck alike. Nothing can give you pleasure (besides s/x)
when you out run a car that is EXPECTED to blow a truck off the road.
I would not trade for my L...

To the poster...
I have a 2000, but stock I ran a 13.6, I have a 4lb lower and a 2.80 upper on a bad tune (ritch as all hell, timing backed out until I can get a wide-band or dyno tune) 13.1s at 104. To get a mid 12 sec SVTL, your gonna need at least a 6lb lower, CAI, high flow cats, and a GOOD TUNE! Also, your gona have to get a good launch with the stock F1s, my best is a 1.8 60 ft, From what other have told me, a good set of DRs can net you a 1.7 60 ft. Good Luck, FARM TRUCKS ROCK!
