Guys with Bassani cats & mid pipe?

I bought the truck with a Borla cat back already on it. The sound is nice but I would like to go a bit louder (and deeper if possible). I'm thinking of going with Bassani high flow cats and mid pipe to help it out. The problem is I live in CA and would need the ability to throw the stock cats (all 4) back on to pass visual inspection. How easy/difficult would it be to swap out the two? Are the Bassani's a direct bolt on, or do you have to cut the stock pipe and clap them on?

Direct fit, available with or without cats and the cats can be removed and replaced on the pipes.

Dork-N-Beans:

Do you have a bassani CB as well?
The Bassani is louder than Borla. It would probably take the drone out if I put in the bassani cats & mids since the borla is a bit quieter.

Any install tips? I think you convienced me. I'll order them this week! As long as I can throw the stockers back in w/out to big of problem. What do you think? Thanks

I have bassani high flo mid pipes with cats and bassani cat back. only problem i can see is its not a quick job,not for me anyway, get yourself some 02 extenders cause the one on the front pass side is buried way up top and hard to get at, but other than that should be great. took me and a friend about 3hrs to do the complete swap on a lift
