Question Is this true?

On LS1 he says he raced a '00 L that has a governor on it that limits it to 110??

No "L" Has a governer in 4 gear. A rev limitter in all other gears. No stopping at 110 MPH either, unless it really sick.

No speed limiter, just rev limiter. Definitly good for well over 110 mph

Maybe this guy inadvertantly turned off his O/D, and that kept him in 3rd gear?

No speed limiter, I've been to 155 in my Beastie. Radar clocked (research for the state, no ticket involved, thank God!).

The '93-95 trucks DID have a 110 speed limiter...but not the new ones.

HEY!, ixna on the levrimiter-a, you guys are causing the value of my 99 150mph "L" to plummett quicker than my "Nasdaq" stocks. remember, 99 L's without cowl screw covers are considered "factory lightweights". collectors are already drooling.

Wyldman,
Nevermind I just looked at the seat in the L. Dont think it will take any 155MPH passes(to many 130MPH pinch marks).

He talked to the guy again and found out the guy didn't wanna go any faster because it only had 200 miles on it.
