Smile Towing and Tires

Thanks to everyone for all of the information on this board!
I purchased a 25' boat and with the trailer weighs a little over the 5,000 pound limit unloaded. I had been very worried about this and put on air bags just in case. The results were absolutely excellent (except for gas mileage). I towed the boat about 300 miles and the truck just purred along at 65-70mph. I averaged about 9.5 mpg and coasted into Needles California on fumes where the gas price was $3.59 a gallon for premium. It's a buck cheaper over at Havasu so I was quite shocked but didn't have a choice.
Also, I replaced the tires since my F1's had 25,000 on them and needed to be replaced before towing. I purchased the Toyo Proxes and boy do I like them. They handle great, make less noise, don't follow the road ruts and did great on the boat ramp.
Again, thanks to all of the posts on this board I was able to get a lot of valuable information.
You guys and gals are great! Thanks a bunch.

Bill
