Ive been working out here in the chicago area for the past 3 months and have yet to see another lightning,Im wonder in if there are any lightning owners out here!

We're out here! I live on the NW side, work in the far NW suburbs. I've seen a few others since I've gotten mine back in August. Haven't met anyone from this board though.

I will probably go on Saturday, but that all
depends on the weather. Last weekend I'm working outside in a T-shirt and this morning
I'm shoveling snow! Anyway, you need to take 94 north to Union Grove, it's just past Kenosha. There will be exit signs for Great Lakes Dragway I think it's Exit 31 or 301
I don't remember which. Then just go west for a couple of miles until you see the track on your left hand side. Whatever you do don't take the exit for the Bong Rec Area,
it's NOT what you think.

Sounds Great!Hope the weather is good for next weekend.Yeah i wasnt too happy either when i went to work at 12 am only to find snow and lots of wind...eeeek,Any way,sis just had the airraid filter kit put on,she says its quite an improvement.Shell be here tomarrow.Cant wait!

It's me again, I goofed on those directions,
you have to get off at exit 337 (K-R road).
Then it's 4 miles west to the track. The racing fee is $27.00 for car & driver and
$11.00 just to be a spectator. The hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, I will call them this week to make sure that they will be open
I guess they got more snow then we did. Later

 

I can`t make it the 15th, duty calls, but I sure would like to meet some other Chi-town Lightning owners. Any other suggestions?

Hello Chicago L Owners,
I had an idea about a meeting place, what do
you guys think about going to Great Lakes
Dragway in Wisconsin? It's only about an hour away from downtown Chicago and it's now open on the weekends. I'm considering going there next weekend ( 15th ) or the weekend
after that. Anyone interested ? Later.
