Question Lowering the L?

Well i know there is guys outhere riding around in their lowered lightnings. Well am looking in to lowering mine about 2" what should i use?, i stil want to keep the performance of the suspension, but want to lower it. Any suggestions?

For about 50 bucks and about half an hour of wrenching you can drop the rear of the truck 2 inches, leveling it out. Drop shackles are the way to do that, they are made by aim, djm, and a few others, I do not have the part number, but using the search button would get those for you. As for lowering it more, I do not know about keeping performance, there are plenty of way knowledgable people here that will help you.

In the San Diego area Offroad Warehouse has 2" drop shackles in stock. Including the one hour round trip to the store I had the drop installed in less than 2 hours. You will need jack stands, a good floor jack, 13/16 & 7/8 wrenches (one size might do, but my wrenches were old so I used both sizes). Good luck!
