Pully's

Hey guys,
I don't really know much about engines i know what i need to know to keep in good maint. but not about racing or upgrading my engine in anyway i want to get pully's but don't know what it will take to put them on and if i do put them on what other stuff will i have to do if any? like do i have to change anything else out on the motor to handle the new pully system? and what is the quickest, easiest, and cheapest way to gain horse power from bolt on's (not NOS)? Another question if i do put alot of bolt on stuff on will it kill my MPG becuase i do have to drive my L everyday back and forth to work and gas is outragous here. I do not race at the track but i do want to stomp the occaisional Z28 or Mustang GT that i pull up beside.
Any suggestions Please feel free to give me critisim or good thoughts i just need feedback.
Thanks for your time.

Each of your questions has been discussed in detail - over and over and over again.

Click on the "search" menu item above, then select "advanced search." Type in some key words. Then be prepared for more information than you ever thought imaginable.

If, after doing your homework, you still have questions, help is readily available here.

For suspension and brake stuff, and maybe a little engine tech, you can check out my Web site. I've collected information gathered from these boards - but only a tiny fraction of what is available with the magic Search function.

BTW, it's "pulley," not "pully." Correct spelling is essential to a search.

simple 4lb pulley, chip and air filter will get you around a stock Z28 but there are very few of those still around.

realible power:

4# lower
A dyno tuned chip for your truck
traction bars
Factory tech valve Body (shift kit)
CAI (probably don't need it, but it's only money)

you will be running 12's and you'll be there safely.
