Gas on Post/Base?

I've been using the 93 octane here at Fort Belvoir for about 6 months, any reason I should stop?? It's cheaper than anywhere else in the area.

Anyone else fill up the L on military installations??

I don't ever fill up on base. The gas on base is more expensive than out in town. I live in Va Bch, Va.

I filled the truck on base several times and it ran like garbage for some reason. I am thinking that the gas on base is the from the bottom of the barrel. I think the base here is the last place to get their tanks filled so they get the crappy leftovers. I pay the extra few cents and go to Chevron. My truck seems to like that the best.

I just filled up at Belvoir yesterday for $2.33/gal.

Just to see if I can tell, my next tank will be from Sunoco or Cheveron, what I used to use. I think they're around $2.45/gal or so.
