I'm planing of adding a Maf with K&N Filter to a '99 Lighning.
Is it ok to buy a C&L kit or should I get a Pro-M?
If you have any other advise for me for the first mod, please let me know.

Do a search on "MAF" and/or "mass air". I think you will find that the MAF upgrade will not increase power significantly. You will find that a cold air induction kit and chip provide significant power increases for the same or even less cash. There are several to choose from... PSP Power Surge Performance (my preference), Air Raid, Superchips, Houston Performance....

forget the maf ,buy a superchip .and sals aircleaner.ive already wasted my 300 bucks on the pro m.

I thought the truck is equipped with MAF as stock ?!

Anyway, your 1st upgrade/change has to be a chip.
