Hello to all:

FYI. I have done the search. I am aware of the possible damage to the finish caused by a nose mask.

I attempted to install the SVT Online Store Lightning Nose Mask this past weekend. The mask did not appear to fit properly on the truck. In addition, the mask did not have any connectors to properly align the mask or keep the mask securely in place.

Took the mask to a local truck outfitter to have them install it. When I returned to their shop they said the mask was not cut properly to fit the Lightning, in their opinion, and therefore they would not install it.

I would like to install a full-fascia nose mask on the Lightning, but the one from the SVT Online Store doesn't cut the mustard. Are there any other nose masks for the Lightning available?

yikes!!! I just ordered mine yesterday... guess i better cancel it!!

But unless someone else makes one im kinda screwed... just had the front bumper repainted because im going to clear bra the whole front- but the paint shop says ive got to wait 4-6 weeks for the paint to fully cure before I clear bra. And Im selling my 94 so i dont have anything else to drive...

anyone got any other leads??

Furthering the American Quest of Unlimited Horsepower and Crappy Gas Mileage!

 

I bought this front end cover from Ford back when I got the Lightning last year. I had bought a similar cover for my old '97 Cobra and one for my wife's '00 SVT Contour. Both of those were great fitting, quality pieces. The Lightning one looks like the crap you get at Walmart that is one size fits all trucks style.

My advice would be to skip this piece, especially since it costs over 100 dollars, takes about 6 weeks on special order, and looks like absolute crap on a great looking truck.
