Dealer just called, my 2000 white L has just
been unloaded. Will check it out tomorrow
and complete the deal on Monday. I already
had vacation scheduled for next week, perfect
timing. Been waiting on this beast for over
5 months, guess I'll have to wait to more days. YIIIPPPPEEEE!!!!!!

 

Congrats. you are gonna be doing alot of driving next week. Dont know if you have a chip & filter orderd yet, but as you probably know, they will transform your L from "the fastest truck ever built", to "HALF TRUCK, HALF AMAZING". I recommend Sals chip and filter. Have fun and drive safe.

 

Thanks, Caka, I've got Sal's filter already waiting as well as clear corners. 2" drop shackles are on order, chip coming later later down the road. Can hardly stand it.

 

Went to dealers today to check out my new L that arrived late yesterday. Passenger side door has a 4 inch scratch near the bottom that goes to the metal. Odometer reading was 4.2 miles, truck still has plastic on bumpers. Will take delivery Monday and schedule paint fix for door. Also has the scratches under front valance, as do many. This leaves a bad taste that I hope WOT will remove while I am on vacation next week.
