Wink What a sweet morning

I pulled up next to a very new Porche Carrera, the guy has silver rings on his thumbs, shaved head. His girl has a skirt so short, she has to keep her hands in her lap.

Now I know this might be a real race, so I turn off the a/c and O/D, check the mirrors for cops and start concentrating on the light.

At the green I get a perfect launch, as did he. It was a dead heat up to when the truck shifted into second, and then I started slowly walking away from him. I shut down at around 70-75 mph (in the city !)

At the next light, he was so pissed, he did not want to look, but his girlfriend was smiling at me !

I love this truck !

Gotta love that feeling. Say, did she wave hi(move her hands away)? Nice kill. I do not think I would have one a race like that beacuse I do not have a chip, but I would have given him a run for his money!

Question

No waving.

I keep on wondering if this was a true test. What are the numbers for a '99-'00 Carrera ?

I can think of no possible reason for him throwing the race...good kill.

Cool

It is not a belly, it's just my chest that has settled a bit...

Cool

On a related but not really note...

anyone see a recent magazine article with the L's stacked up against a C5?

Friend was telling me about it- I guess the Lightning just killed em....

But they also said that the truck only weighted in around 4100lbs... All the numbers ive seen were supposed to be around 4700?
