**HELP ford lightning**
hey yall im really getting close to buying a 99 or newer lightning and need some help on the insurance..what are the companies are you guys with and what year is your lightning? ive have got some quotes that are reallly high mainly b/c i live in FL, im 18 with 1 speed ticket. but i have some beater pick up and hate it i would rather be broke ridin clean in the lightning then lookin like a dirty white boy in a beater pick up lol so if the lightning peeps could help me out it would be awesome. thanks

Iam 20, and in canada we have this new driver bull**** and iam one of them, i bought a 03 lightning with 17000kms and i payed 31500 for it, i payed all cash, take a loan from family or the bank. With my insurance i pay 224 a month, iam with sutton insurance.

When it comes to insurance companies and prices there is nothing anybody here can tell you that will be of any help to you. The main thing is to stay with one of the big companies, like State Farm, Allstate, Farmers etc.
If you go to some fly by night cheap company you will just be throwing you money away as they most likely won’t be around to cover any insurance claims or just not cover them period. Trust me, when I was younger I been there and done that.
Insurance cost differ greatly from company to company, and can also differ greatly with the same company from one state to another, and even from you city to the one right next to you.
The only way you will ever find out what its really going to cost “you” for where “you” live is to call around and get quotes from as many of the big companies as you can and then go with the one with the best prices, for a big company.

yeah i tried going to state farm and they declined me cuz 1 ticket and my age haha i guess im pretty much screwed but im in love with lightnings and its all worth the money i spend cuz around my area no one has them and plus my room mate has a 96 cobra with little mods and is so ****y about it and bets it will stomp a lightning ha!
