You're not even going to believe this, but I went WOT today in 28 degree weather, with a kickdown, then up to 135MPH, and my motor didn't blow up! Not a spit, sputter, or nothing!! Runs fine and dandy...lol

We already have knock sensors, but they are turned off. The S/C noise confuses them.

Thats odd, it doesnt happen on the GM cars. I run a modded Regal GS in the high 13's, 12psi, no issues at all with the knock sensors getting "confused".

Yes and no... I really did what I said on the first post...even had my 82 year old grandfather with me. I had to take him for his checkup yesterday and the doc said his blood pressure was low so... I think I fixed that problem, lol. Actually, he thought it was fun and noted how well the truck handled and tracked at that speed like it was only doing 60mph.

Old fart just about totally crippled one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel at the mercy of me to take care of him, and still being able to get out, break some laws, and do 130+ MPH in a supercharged sport truck is livin life.

I think he makes alot of unneeded doctor appointments just so I can take him out for rides in the Lightning, lol.

But yes I'm clowning around because the L is notorious on here for being on the edge with kickdowns and WOT in cold weather but I don't care becuase I believe a performance vehicle should be able to handle being a performance vehicle and if I blow it up driving it as a performance vehicle, oh well... Live and learn (always the hard way for me, lol)

I am stock other then an open air setup... so I think I'm somewhat safe doing kickdowns and WOT, hopefully, lol...

Sounds more to me like your trying to kill poor grampy to inherit your share of his cash to try and compete with all those fast Lightnings down in Jersey
