Post Cleaning rubber off plastic

I AM DONE AT THE DRAGS FOR AWHILE !!. I just spent 2 hrs cleaning the rubber out of the wheelwells. What a royal pain in the butt.Do any of you clean the rubber off. What methods so you use? My truck is being prof. detailed tomorrow.I still cant get the rubber off the ground effects. It comes off the underside but it is hard to get off the skirts.White is a pain in the butt.I guess Ill leave it up to the proffesionals.I know they wouldnt take the time to get it all off for those of you who are wondering.Funny huh,You spend $100.00 and they wont take the time to really deep down clean!Oh yea,I bet rubber sticks to ZAINO lol

I don't know about rubber...but here in AZ we have "chip sealing season" where in the brain trust that runs the DOT lays down fresh oil/tar and dumps gravel on it. Our job as motorists is to use the weight of our vehicles to push the the chips into the fresh oil goo. I tell you this because last week I had hundreds of tar goo spots on my L for several days and, drumroll, they wiped right off of the two coats of Zaino! Might be time for a third....

Hey, Metallic Blue did not put me up to this Zaino testimonial! :-)

Here is a tip that comes from the world of road racing for the rubber problem. Get some body shop masking tape (holds great but doesn't leave residue) and tape the lower portion of the quarter area with paper. Works great!!

Spray it and clay it. that will get anything off, including road tar. i know it's a PIA but it works. then re-apply wax/Zaino

Don't race it. DOH! I didn't just say that did I? I need to get my head examined!
Sidebar-Track has been open here in Western Pa for 3 weeks now and it has rained/snowed EVERY weekend! I may never get to see how this truck really performs!
