Stand alone fuel system for nitrous set ups?

Anyone using this type of fuel system on their nitrous set up? If so, can you give your insight on how you plumbed it? ie: with a regulator and a return line, or no regulator and return line, what FI fuel pump, filters, etc...... Thanks Ronnie

well

just went through this with my mustang. here's what you got.

Usually the guys use a seperate fuel cell. On the mustangs, you can squeeze a small 1 gallon tank in the engine bay. Not as easy to do on the lightning. Probably would have to bed mount it.

Some guys recommended running a return system which makes it optimal for purging and making sure all air is out. i guess if you wanted to run consistant, like in points racing or something, this would be the best way. If you are running for fun, probably not necessary.

Not sure what you would need for specifics on the pump. You can get an intank pump or an inline pump. You'd have to wire it up.

All in all, i think it's way to convenient with an EFI motor to just pull the fuel from the stock fuel line , or off the stock fuel rail. We already have enough wires and plumbing crap. KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid.

Good luck!!!

Um.. that's a really bad idea... unless your talking *race only* cars.

yeah

should have mentioned, my mustang is a drag only car. Definetely shouldn't store fuel in the front of any street vehicle for fear of accident
