I was just searching on the site that i posted above for trucks Roush Lightning and Ford and they poped up. It sure looks nice in yellow.

Still looks like it could be a photoshop job. I can see a little bit of red undercoat, could be the lighting though. The front windshield definitely looks like it might have been done with photoshop.

If you do a search for yellow lightning, you'll see another discussion in which it came up that Ford made a coupe of yellow lightnings themselves as a "dealer test" to see how receptive the color was.
Only in 1999 models or something like that?
DUH! DOH! WOW! FUNNY! HA! DUH! You people think know EVERYTHING! The Lightning is MADE AT THE ONTARIO TRUCK PLANT IN OAKVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is onle ONE YELLOW Lightning Made last year! It is a PLANT promotional vehicle that has made MANY trips to DEARBORN! The Vehicle is pictured on the Display stand outside the OTP on the Royal Windsor Drive side of the plant. The Other photo's were taken INSIDE the plant. The bumpers and Mirrors were a special paint job done by The Local KENNEDY Ford Dealership. The Truck now has lots of miles on the odometer. The Vehicle NOW sits OUTSIDE in the Back of the Plant where all the parts trailers are dropped.
NO! you SLY self proclaimed PHOTOSHOP experts; IS or ever WAS the Lightning RED!
So get over it! I've driven more Lightnings than you will ever SEE!

You're partly right, there are 2 Yellows, and yes they were built for dealer reaction tests, they built the first two silvers at the same time, silver won. I've heard rumors, (Blue Oval News) that yellow will replace white in '01.
And yes, the picture was taken at OTP, where the truck is now (or was 3 weeks ago). I've also heard that the promotional truck has about 45K miles on it, they just love it at Dearborn proving ground.
