Post Saw another Lightning here in Vegas

Hey fellows, could this be any of you? I saw a red 99 at Tillerman's (resaurant I think) off of Eastern and Flamingo blvd. It had nice chrome wheels. Anyhow, I left a note for the guy, with my username. Hopefully it will be a new user. This is the second Lightning I have seen down here in the lower 48, 2nd gen. PS how does the Z28/Trans Am stack up against our stock Lightnings? That GT kill gave me serious confidence, and erased doubts among my ignorant friends.

Tundra,
I ran against a new style z28 today at the track and beat him by about a half a second. i ran 13.6 and he ran around 14-14.1. I have no idea if he was stock or not, i assume he wasn't. see my 60' time post and notice that i went to the track with a 99 ss and a 00 ws6 the ss has some kind of cold air intake, 3.73 gears, and shift kit and he had a best of 13.49, and the ws6 just had a shift kit and he ran a best of about 13.51. My best for the day was 13.571 @ 102.61 but was in the 13.6's most of the time. Hope it helps

Tundra, have you relocated to LV permanently now? If so, maybe I will stop and pay you a visit on my way to Georgia later this year.

Tahnks for the info bggroth, now I know. I am only going to school here now, and as soon as the semester ends, we will be heading back to Alaska. I think we are going the coastal route. I should be back for the fall semester. I really do want to run my truck in the Silver State Classic.
