how much does the liner weigh?

 

WHITELIGHT ask the relevent question. All that liners is going to do is slow up the heat disapation. Great if you live in Alaska. Not so great if you live in Texas.

Lightnings don't come with hood pads because F-Series trucks don't get them. The only exception is the new Supercrew, which gets that and a couple other noise insulation parts. Lightnings were spec'd off of an XLT cab, so when 00 F-Series XLT's and Lariat's gained a overhead console, the 00 L inherited it by default.

 

So the pro's and cons of installing a hoodliner is...

It will save the paint on the hood but the underhood temps will be greater?
