Has anyone installed the line lock kit from psp???? If so how was the installation and where did you mount the button... I seen some pics of L's with floor shifts and they mounted it to the handle... what about for a column shift...

I do not have the PSP line lock kit , but I mounted my button below the drivers rt side vent in the blank spot ,centered of course. It is a push botton that I picked up from radio shack. If you want a pic email me and I can send one.It works great at the track.Left hand on steering wheel right hand on button.

The only switch is the one on the "tilt" lever. The other switch in the pic is for something else...........Put the switch on the tilt lever or where you dont have to awkwardly reach for it around or through the steering wheel!!

Actually the other switch is an arming switch for the Line Lock. I didn't want
the possibility of a screw up "at speed" on a race course, so I positively
wired it out of the circuit. The Momentary Switch on the tilt (Although
tied on with black zip ties, works very well for me, maybe because I have
long arms.)

It surely saves those back brakes though ... I have tried it on the actual
launch, but never quire got the hang of it, so I just use it for burnouts and
showing off on the street (like at street lights! LOL)

Smoke 'em if you got 'em ...

I've also seen a slick removable arming switch. The guy installed a phone jack (like for audio equipment) in the dash and the removable plug was rigged to a momentary pushbutton on the end of a coiled lead. You plug it in only at the track, so no chance of false arming when it's not connected. Simply hold the switch, then drop it when you release.

It was pretty slick and fairly stealthy too.
